Cork7 guides

Start here if the lobby is open and the mountain is not

These guides cover the gap between the official rule page and a first scored run. Each page has one job: controls, settings, a broken client, or multiplayer.

My own path on 25 October 2026 was short. I picked Solo, dropped into The Yard, then tried APEX and crashed with BAIL LOST 152. The guides below use that session plus the published control list, not a pretend perfect line.

The Controls tab is a reference, not a sensitivity mixer.

Read them in this order

Learn the buttons before you chase score. Then look at graphics only if the client already told you it was slow. Multiplayer is last, because it needs an account and a room that is actually open.

  • How to play: keyboard, Xbox-style pad, and touch.
  • Settings: Camera, Graphics, Sound, Controls, Account. No sensitivity slider.
  • Troubleshooting: slow frames, a black view, inputs that do nothing.
  • Multiplayer: rooms up to 30 riders and ranked 1v1 on APEX.

FAQ

Do I need a guide to start Cork7?

No. Solo plus the on-screen buttons is enough for a first gondola ride. The guides are for scoring and for a client that misbehaves.

Are these copied from cork7.com?

The control numbers and scoring values are quoted from the official how-to-play page. The session notes are from 25 October 2026 on this machine.
