Cork7 multiplayer is a live room, not a separate download. The About page says up to 30 riders. At 20 riders, or 14 on Big Air, the system opens another room automatically; those are new-room thresholds, not hard capacity limits. A chosen room, friend join or invite can still enter until it is full. The 24 October note separately caps Shirakumo at 20. You need an account.
I stayed logged out, so this page is the published rules plus the ranked screen I could see from the lobby. I did not queue, did not add a friend, and did not test whether iOS and desktop share one room.
Friends and 1v1
A free account shows whether a friend is online, which park they are in, and whether they are in a 1v1. You can join or watch. Friendly 1v1 parks are APEX, Big Air, Forest Line, and Aspen Pipe: two runs each, best run wins, and the friendly match does not change rank.
Ranked 1v1
Ranked is on APEX. The October notes describe five placement matches, ranks from Bronze to Diamond, a top 25 and names hidden until the start. If an opponent leaves before the start you return to the queue; if they never arrive, searching resumes within 45 seconds. That is not a voluntary 45-second dodge window. The 30-second total pause or standing-still allowance ends an inactive run. Ranked is marked beta; the recorded board says no prizes. The saved ranked screenshot showed a Diamond leader at 1,669, not a permanent record.
Chat can be filtered, set to quick phrases, or turned off. You can mute and report. The privacy page says a report can keep the last 10 minutes of messages for up to 90 days.
FAQ
Can I play Cork7 multiplayer without an account?
No. Solo is the logged-out mode. Rooms, friends, and ranked need a free account.
Does Cork7 ranked pay prizes?
The beta notes say there are no prizes. Leaderboard POW rewards are a different system, described on the levels page.
